“I find that doing business in South Bend is easy. People want to work with you to see you succeed and are proactive in trying to help you on your way. There is forward momentum, and I truly believe that the downtown area is on the rise. I'm building condos on the East Race, for instance, and it's rewarding to see how much interest and support there is for the project. It's catching on and will help capitalize on what I feel is an already vibrant environment. Running or cycling along the river, walking to restaurants or theater, shopping at the Farmers Market – it all makes for an attractive scenario."
